Hi, I’m Kat. You can also call me Katerina if you like longer names.

I began KatFit for a few reasons…
The first reason was mostly because I am genuinely excited to share my passion for fitness activities and fitness training with those in Zurich. Secondly, through fitness, I have learnt to stay healthy, feel energised, and joyful while managing a full-time job and this is what I want to share with others. Third, I wanted to show off my adorable, spoiled and clingy 09-year old cat Puma, who not only owns me, but managed to get a place in KatFit’s logo.

I was born and raised in Athens. Six years ago, a work opportunity and my urge to make a new start, led me to Zurich. Although, I have a full-time job as a business analyst, I always make time for the activities that I love: hiking, biking, training at the gym, jogging, trying out new mobility drills, you name it. Practically, anything that involves physical movement!

I am a certified fitness trainer and obtained my license in Fitnesstrainer B Lizenz. My interest in nutrition led me to study at NutraPhoria School of Holistic Nutrition and obtain my Holistic Nutrition & Health Coach Certification.

What does it take to train with me?
At KatFit I am on a mission to guide you in your pursuit of fitness, health and wellbeing.

While my own philosophy is guided by Joy, here is how I want to help you in achieving the fitness goal you have for yourself as well as when you sign up for training with me:
Make a start
If you have made it this far into my website, good job! Make a start by getting advice from professionals, setting a fitness plan like going to a gym or doing any other activity.
Be self-aware
A realistic vision and being self aware of what you want to achieve in terms of fitness. Try to be conscious of yourself and your current state of fitness and wellbeing.
Be consistent
Be consistent and committed to yourself as well as your schedule.
Be disciplined
Discipline to stay focused during training and also patience. It is important for you to know that if we are to build long lasting results, it is going to take time.
Have an open mind and be patient
An open mind to try out new routines or exercises you hadn’t done before. I also want you to have an open mind about possible failure. The road ahead is going to be a long one and some days you wouldn’t feel like training. But it’s always important to remember that you can start over.
Promise to not give up
Your honesty and promise to have fun on this journey. Think of our personal training sessions as playtime!
